Elevator pitch:

A 2D, dungeon crawler, where the player has the choice to either explore the dungeon or make their way straight through. My Contributions

Audio Designer

I was in charge of finding a theme for the game that would encapsulate the dark, gloomy feel, while also providing a melancholic tune when the player finds an easter egg.

Level Designer

My role as level designer was to design each maze, ensuring that the difficulty scaling was bearable and kept the player engaged.

Visual Designer

My role as visual designer was to make use of every shade and color combination to make the game visually stunning and simple.

Gameplay

The dungeon crawler initially introduces the player to different types of puzzles, including mazes and light mechanics. But, the player is provided with a choice to simply ignore the puzzles and head straight through. But, if the player dares brave the puzzle rooms, they will come across easter eggs which may change the game ending.

Once a lumen is collected, the level lights up with a randomly selected combination of warm colors.

As the player explores deeper into the dungeon, they encounter different mechanics that revolve around darkness. It is up to the player whether they want to brave the darkness, or go back to the light.
